CON AMOR, MELAO

Me encanta la idea de que cada día la industria de moda venezolana vaya creciendo mas y mas. Es increíble el talento y la creatividad de todas estas personas que están involucradas en este medio, la calidad de algunas marcas hacen que puedan tener un potencial a nivel internacional.

En diciembre me dediqué a comprar puras cosas de marcas venezolanas porque me encanta apoyar el talento nacional y una de las marcas que me tenía loca era Melao. Desde hace mucho tiempo sigo a la marca venezolana Melao, la calidad y el acabado de cada una de sus prendas es impecable, las colecciones son hermosas y tienen cosas a buen precio así que no dudé en comprarme este short de estampado floral.  

Sé que el estampado floral está un poco pasado de temporada pero yo no soy de seguir mucho las tendencias, sólo me inspiro de ellas, más no significa que me limite a usar prendas de color oscuro sólo porque estamos en la temporada de invierno.

One of the things I like the most is that the venezuelan fashion industry is growing more and more, the talent and creativity of the people involved in the venezuelan fashion industry it's incredible and some brands could be very successful internationally because of their quality.

In december I started buying just venezuelan stuff like clothes and jewelry because I like to support the national talent and one of the brands that was driving me insane was Melao.  Melao is a venezuelan brand, the quality of their clothes is impeccable, the collections are just speechless and they have stuff with a very good price so I didn't think twice about buying this floral print short.

I know that floral print is out of trend but I don't like to follow trendings, I just get inspired by them, but I'm not going to limit myself to wear dark colors because we are in the winter season.

I'M BACK + HAPPY 2014!

Después de 2 meses y medio sin actualizar estoy de vuelta con muchas ideas y nuevos proyectos que poco a poco irán viendo. El blog cumplió un año en diciembre, pero debido a las circunstancias estaré celebrando el aniversario en enero. También haré videos (tutoriales, fashion hauls y meteré un poco de maquillaje también). Quiero llevar el nombre de Venezuela en alto en Irlanda.

Esto fue lo que utilicé el 24 de diciembre, como mi familia entera estaba de luto pensé que no celebraríamos nada y a última hora me enteré que si. En mi maleta sólo había metido 3 camisas, 2 shorts, un par de Converse, mis queridos wedge sneakers y un par de tacones, así que cuando me dijeron eso casi entro en pánico porque no tenía nada, en fin, tuve que resolver como pude y pidiendo prestado de mi mama jaja (originalmente no utilicé el bolso naranja sino uno más formal ni tampoco llevé el cabello suelto, clic aquí para ver el look)

Estoy muy emocionada porque dentro de 2 días ya tendré mi cámara en mano y al fin podré mostrarles un poco de lifestyle allá en Dublín. Espero que hayan tenido unas felices navidades y que tengan un feliz año nuevo, prometo no dejarlos de nuevo, un besote!

After 2 months without updating I'm back with a lot of ideas and new projects that you'll be seeing this month. My blog anniversary was on december but I'll be celebrating it this month. I'll be making videos too like tutorials, fashion hauls and some makeup. 

This is what I wore on Christmas Day, my entire family was mourning so I thought we weren't going to celebrate it but they told me that they were going to do it at last minute. In my luggage I was only carrying with 3 shirts, 2 shorts, 2 pairs of shoes and a pair of heels, so, when they told me that I was in panic. I had to make a look only with those things and my mom borrowed me some things too, and this is the final result (if you want to see pictures click here)

I'm very exited because I'll get my computer in 2 days, so I'll finally show you my lifestyle in dublin. I hope you have had a merry christmas and I wish you my best for you in this 2012, I promise not to leave you again, kisses!

I'M COMING BACK

No, no he cerrado el blog ni mucho menos me olvido de ustedes, al contrario, no hay otra cosa en la que piense todos los días que no sea "oh no qué haré con mis lectores..." Sí, es muy frustrante no poder bloggear ni nada y no actualizar el blog, pero hay una razón detrás de esto.

Como les dije, el 17 de octubre llegué aquí a Irlanda y estaba muy emocionada por formar esta nueva experiencia y por subir looks un poco diferentes. La primera semana que estuve aquí le pedí el favor a una chica que conocí (que un tiempo después se convirtió en una amiga muy cercana) para tomar fotos de mi outfit en un parque HERMOSISIMO cerca de mi casa. Y esta parte es muy vergonzosa... pero tendré que contarla, como era nueva en la ciudad estaba muy estresada y confundida, primero por el frío y segundo porque no estaba para nada ubicada, en tanto estrés y sufrimiento y con tantas cosas encima, me distraje y dejé mi cámara debajo de un banco en el cual estaba sentada. Sí, fin de la historia, perdí mi adorada cámara y por eso no he subido mas fotos de mis outfits. 

La buena noticia es que al parecer tendré una nueva en diciembre, la ordené por internet y probablemente esté en mis manos en menos de 2 semanas, en 2 semanas comenzaré a bloggear de nuevo, y será mucho mejor porque es el mes aniversario del blog así que habrán muchas sorpresas y una de las palabras más adoradas: SORTEOS. No, I haven't closed my blog and I don't forget about you guys, on the contrary, there's no other thing I can think about that's not about you. Yes, is very frustrating can't blog or update my blog but there's a reason behind this. 

As I told you, on october 17th I arrived here in Ireland and I was very excited to be part of a new experience and to upload pictures with winter outfits and different looks. The first week I was here, I asked for a friend of mine to do me the favor of taking the pictures for my bog (with my camera) in a beautiful park near my house. But that day I was very stressed and confused, the first one because I was freezing and the latter one because I didn't know where I was. With so many things in my head I just got distracted and I left my camera under a bench. Yes, this is the end of the story, not very happy, but that's the end, I lost my camera and that's the reason why I haven't upload anything. 

The good new is that I ordered for a new camera in december, so maybe is going to be in my hands in less than two weeks, IT MIGHT BE. And then I'm going to start blogging again and it will be better because it's the anniversary month of my blog so there are a lot of surprises like Giveaways, so keep reading my blog and don't miss my updates on instagram: mariantov or Facebook: Sassy Styled Angel
