¡Hola qué tal! Ya este es mi primer post formal después de muchísimo tiempo y espero que les guste lo que tengo preparado para ustedes. Este outfit lo tengo guardado desde hace mucho tiempo. Comencé a planear "el regreso" desde Octubre-Noviembre del año pasado y éste fue uno de los primeros outfits que anoté para mostrarles.

Amo esta tendencia de accesorios o zapatos con partes transparentes. Y aunque un bolso transparente no es la mejor opción para los habitantes de Venezuela, yo prefiero guardarme este clutch para ocasiones un poco más "privadas" por así decirlo. Sin embargo, para comprarlo fue toda una odisea. Apenas vi en el instagram de Primark que iban a sacar ese bolso, me la pasé yendo todos los días a la tienda, en realidad lo necesitaba, y resulta que ya los habían sacado y quedaban muy pocos ¡Y estaban escondidos! Pero igual lo agarre y lo compré jaja.

Hey guys! This could be called my first "formal" post after a long time without posting and I hope you like all the looks I wanted to show you. I've been saving this outfit for a long time, since November from last year to be honest, and this was one of the firsts looks I made for the "comeback".

I love this "clear everything" trend. I love it most on shoes and bags. And even if this is not the best option for a Venezuelan resident (only Venezuelan people will understand) I prefer to save this clutch for private occasions. However, when I tried to buy this clutch I thought it was going to be impossible. I was following Primark's instagram account for months and one day they posted that they were going to sell a clear clutch. I literally went running like crazy to Primark's store and the moment I got there there there were no clutches! It turns out that the clutches were hidden, and of course I found them, and of course I bought one.

LONDON FASHION WEEK DAY THREE

El tercer día del Fashion Week estuvo muy interesante, era el día de los desfiles más importantes (Topshop Unique, Peter Pilotto, entre otros) pero en mi opinión no estuvo tan movido como el primer día y no había tanta gente, sin embargo traté de sacar fotos de street style y este fue mi resultado.

A la hora de vestirme quise usar prendas de diseño venezolano, los zarcillos Dopodomani los estaba guardando para la ocasión y desde que compré la falda supe que harían una perfecta combinación, en serio, desde que vi esa falda me enamoré tanto de la linda forma que da como del estampado.

Day 3 at London Fashion Week was very interesting,  (featuring the most important catwalks like Topshop Unique and Peter Pilotto) but in my opinion it wasn't as good as the other days, there were just a few people. However, I tried to take street style pics and this was my result.

When I was packing and thinking what to wear those days, I wanted to wear Venezuelan designer garments, the earrings (I'm totally in love with them) are from Dopodomani and I was counting the days to use them in that special occasion, and when I bought the skirt I fell in love with the print and the shape it makes, these two things make the perfect combination!

I'M BACK + HAPPY 2014!

Después de 2 meses y medio sin actualizar estoy de vuelta con muchas ideas y nuevos proyectos que poco a poco irán viendo. El blog cumplió un año en diciembre, pero debido a las circunstancias estaré celebrando el aniversario en enero. También haré videos (tutoriales, fashion hauls y meteré un poco de maquillaje también). Quiero llevar el nombre de Venezuela en alto en Irlanda.

Esto fue lo que utilicé el 24 de diciembre, como mi familia entera estaba de luto pensé que no celebraríamos nada y a última hora me enteré que si. En mi maleta sólo había metido 3 camisas, 2 shorts, un par de Converse, mis queridos wedge sneakers y un par de tacones, así que cuando me dijeron eso casi entro en pánico porque no tenía nada, en fin, tuve que resolver como pude y pidiendo prestado de mi mama jaja (originalmente no utilicé el bolso naranja sino uno más formal ni tampoco llevé el cabello suelto, clic aquí para ver el look)

Estoy muy emocionada porque dentro de 2 días ya tendré mi cámara en mano y al fin podré mostrarles un poco de lifestyle allá en Dublín. Espero que hayan tenido unas felices navidades y que tengan un feliz año nuevo, prometo no dejarlos de nuevo, un besote!

After 2 months without updating I'm back with a lot of ideas and new projects that you'll be seeing this month. My blog anniversary was on december but I'll be celebrating it this month. I'll be making videos too like tutorials, fashion hauls and some makeup. 

This is what I wore on Christmas Day, my entire family was mourning so I thought we weren't going to celebrate it but they told me that they were going to do it at last minute. In my luggage I was only carrying with 3 shirts, 2 shorts, 2 pairs of shoes and a pair of heels, so, when they told me that I was in panic. I had to make a look only with those things and my mom borrowed me some things too, and this is the final result (if you want to see pictures click here)

I'm very exited because I'll get my computer in 2 days, so I'll finally show you my lifestyle in dublin. I hope you have had a merry christmas and I wish you my best for you in this 2012, I promise not to leave you again, kisses!

LAYERS ON LAYERS

He estado muy ocupada con ciertos asuntos que se me han olvidado mencionar en el blog. Dentro de 4 días me mudaré por un tiempito (6 meses) a Irlanda, iré a estudiar inglés para luego comenzar la uni aquí en Venezuela (pero vengo en diciembre no se preocupen). A la hora de hacer la maleta se me ha hecho un poco difícil porque ya no puedo darme el lujo de usar shorts tan cortos, tops o cualquier vestimenta que se utilice en el verano porque es muy evidente que moriré de frío y obviamente no estoy acostumbrada a vestirme de acuerdo a la temporada otoño/invierno porque aquí en Venezuela no la tenemos.

Aparte de estar ocupada, el fotógrafo del blog está super ocupado y me dijo que no podía seguir colaborando conmigo, para mi eso fue como un balde de agua fría porque mi blog depende muchísimo de él, entonces tuve que buscar mil y un personas que no supieran absolutamente nada de fotografía para subir así sea unos cuantos looks al blog antes de irme (sin contar de que cuando llegue a Irlanda tendré que buscarme un fotógrafo nuevo, ¡muero!). Ya luego de haber terminado con las explicaciones sobre mis angustias, describiré mi look:

I have been so busy with some issues that I have forgotten to mention in the blog. In 4 days I'll move to Ireland for a while (6 months), I'll go there to study english and then I come back to Venezuela to start the university. It was a little difficult to me making my bags because I can't afford to use small shorts, tops or any summer garment because it's obvious that I'll die frostbitten and I'm not accustomed to use winter clothes because here in Venezuela it's always sunny.

Apart from being busy, the blog's photographer is so busy with their issues that he told me he couldn't be part of the blog anymore and it has became a big issue for me because I had to told eeeeeeveryone (even people who don't know how to use a camera) to collaborate with me. When I arrive to Ireland I have to find a photographer as soon as possible, if not, I'll die. Now that I finished explaining all my anguish, 'll describe the look: 

Creo que vivo en una de las ciudades más calientes de Venezuela, Valencia (claro, después de Maracaibo), y que hacer un look de capa sobre capa es un tanto difícil porque da mucho calor (y más a mi que cualquier cosa me da calor). Esta "tendencia" (por decirlo así) de capa sobre capa, es la que constantemente vemos en las fotos de street style en los Fashion Weeks y la utilizan en cualquier temporada, esto le agrega un toque más minimalista, trendy o sofisticado dependiendo de como lo uses.

Me encanta la versatilidad de este outfit porque puede utilizarse tanto como para ir a comer o como para ir a una pequeña reunión en la noche cambiando los accesorios y el maquillaje. Quién diría lo bien que te puedes ver usando prendas low cost.

I live in one of the hottest cities of Venezuela (Valencia) and making a layer on layer look it's a little bit difficult because it's always hot. This layer on layer "trend" (in a manner to speaking) is the one we see in street style pictures of Fashion Weeks, this add a minimalistic, trendy or sophisticated touch depending how you use it.

I love the versatility of this outfit because it can be used to go out to have a lunch or going night out (changing the accessories and makeup).

ALMOST TOTAL WHITE

Una de las tendencias que más me gusta es el Total White, quise probar a ver qué tal sería estar vestido totalmente de blanco porque siempre ando de negro y la maryoría de mis prendas son negras o de colores oscuros. Mi intento de Total White fue más o menos fallido jajaja, me di cuenta que sólo tengo un vestido, una camisa básica, 2 shorts y como 3 franelas de color blanco en mi clóset. Así que intenté combinar mis prendas y esto fue lo que salió.

Le agregué el blazer y el clutch de palmeras porque me pareció súper veraniego y le podría agregar algo divertido al look, aparte de eso he estado buscando con qué ponerme ese clutch y no sabía con que combinarlo, así que finally I did it!

One of my favorite trends is Total White or White on White, I wanted to try being dressed from head to toes on white because I always dress with dark colors or total black, I don't have a lot of pastel or neon garments. My attempt of total white was a little bit failed, I opened my closet and I just saw a white dress, one white blouse, 2 white shorts and 3 white tanks. So I tried to combine all those garments and this is the result.

I added the pink pastel blazer and the palm trees printed clutch because I thought that it would give a summery and funny look to the outfit, appart from that I have been trying to combine this clutch with something and I finally found the perfect outfit for that!

SUMMER IS HERE

¡Por fin llegaron las vacaciones tan esperadas! el hecho de que sean vacaciones significa que tendré muchísimo más tiempo para postear y comenzar a hacer los proyectos pendientes para el blog.

Tengo el blog un poco abandonado -sé que he dicho esto muchas veces- pero ahora sí ya estoy un 100% disponible para poder escribirles al menos 4 veces a la semana (al menos), quisiera poder subir posts todos los días pero ahí si se me complica un poco.

En este look ya lo han visto todo, excepto 2 cosas: la franela -es nueva- es de h&m me encanta porque tiene un excelente corte que hace que se vea muy bien la figura, si bien vemos es totalmente recta y no enfatiza para nada la figura, pero al contrario, te hace lucir muy bien. 

La otra pieza es el bolso, cuando lo vi me enamoré totalmente, estos bolsos de satchel al estilo Stella Rittwagen están en mis listas de deseo desde hace mucho tiempo, y sé que son extremadamente costosos (4000bs) así que me compré este sólo por 700bs.

Finally summer is here! The fact with this is that I'll have a lot of time to post and to start my projects for the blog.

I have my blog abandoned, I know, and I know that I had mentioned this a lot, but this time I'm 100% available to write post at least 4 times a week, I would like to upload post everyday but that's a little bit difficult.

In this look you have seen everything except 2 things: the shirt -is new- is from h&m and I love it because it has an excellent cut, it makes a good shape, and If you see it well is totally straight and doesn't emphasizes your silhouette, but with this shirt your body will look good because of the cut.

The other piece is the bag, when I saw it I fell in love with it completely, this bag is similar to Stella Rittwagen bags, they're in my wishlist from a long time ago but they're so expensive (200$ approximately) so I bought this one for just 20$.

AMOR POR LOS CUADROS.

Una de las tendencias para Primavera-Verano son los cuadros, no sé ustedes pero yo amé la colección SS'13 de Louis Vuitton, y cómo no hacerlo cuando el blanco y el negro son mis colores favoritos. Cuando compré el short de este look fue algo así como "Amor a primera vista", la idea de que Zara copie las tendencias de las pasarelas y las lleve a precios mucho más "económicos" me encanta.

Mi cumpleaños se acerca, y la verdad es que estoy un poco emocionada, normalmente yo odio los cumpleaños, bueno el mio, pero últimamente tengo algo que me motiva y es este blog, así que espero con muchas ansias sus comentarios este 8 de Abril <3

One of the Spring-Summer trends are squares, I don't know you, but I loved the SS'13 Louis Vuitton's collection, black and white colors are my fave ones so I loved it totally. When I bought the short of this post it was "Love At First Sight", I love the idea about Zara copies the runway trends and take them to cheaper prices.

My birthday is coming and the truth is that I'm a little bit excited, actually I hate birthdays, well, my birthdays, but lately there's something that motivates me and that's my blog, so I'm waiting impatiently for your comments this April 8th<3

STRIPES LOVER

Uno de los estampados que siempre he amado han sido las rayas, en mi closet tengo casi un 25% de prendas con estampados de rayas, y para completar más esta obsesión, me considero adicta al estampado de rayas blanco y negro tanto horizontales como verticales.

El estampado de rayas se convirtió en tendencia para esta primavera y podremos ver en las calles todo tipo de prendas con rayas blanco y negro, yo no perdí mi oportunidad y me compré un pantalón de rayas que lo deseaba desde hace mucho, estaba en mi wishlist y aproveché la oportunidad de un día de compras para llevármelo.

One of the prints I love so much are stripes, I have at least a 25% of striped clothes and to tell you that I'm more obsessed, I consider myself addict to the black and white stripped print both horizontal and vertical.

The stripped print became trend this spring and you can see in the streets every type of clothes carrying black and white stripes, I didn't miss this opportunity so I bought a black and white stripped pant that I wanted so much, actually, It was in my wishlist.

Los pantalones de rayas son tan versátiles y fáciles de combinar, que pueden combinarse tanto con prendas negras, blancas y hasta de todos los colores, en este post me decidí ir por lo básico y darle un toque un poco rockero al look combinándolo con una chaqueta de cuero y una básica negra para que el pantalón fuera protagonista.

The black and white stripped pants are so easy to combine, you can combine it with black, white or every color clothes, in this post I decided to go by basic and give it a rocker look, combining it with a leather jacket and a basic top to make the pant the protagonist of this look.

"La moda pasa, el estilo permanece"

He decidido comenzar con esta frase porque quisiera ejercer mi punto de vista sobe la moda, para algunos esta frase puede que sea muy confusa, ¿moda? ¿estilo? ¿acaso no es lo mismo? Tienen mucho que ver, pero no es lo mismo, la moda es algo efímero, son las tendencias, lo que está de moda y lo que no, lo que ya pasó de temporada, es cambiable y competitiva. Pero esto mas bien lo vería yo como la parte más oscura, la competitiva.

En cuanto al estilo, es tu manera de vestirte de acuerdo a como te sientes, como eres, como te provoque salir a la calle, con unos zapatos de la temporada Otoño-Invierno del 2012, cosas que incluso están fuera de temporada, pero lo usas porque te gusta, porque es tu ESTILO.

Entonces no siempre hay que tener lo último en tendencia, ni tampoco ir a las tiendas en busca de las nuevas colecciones porque hay que "estar a la moda", personalmente opino que si tienes estilo estarás a la moda pero en un buen sentido y es aquí cuando me refiero a la parte buena de la moda

I have decided to start with this quote because I want to perform my point of view about fashion, for many people this quote may be a little bit confuse, fashion? style? Isn't the same thing? This two words relate very much, but they're not the same, fashion is something ephemeral, fashion is trends, what is fashionable, unfashionable, last seasons, is changeable and competitive. But this I would see it like the dark side, the competitive one.

In regard to style, style is the way you dress according the way you feel, the way you are, the way you would like to go out, with shoes of Fall-Winter 2012 season, things that even are out of season, but you wear it because you like them and because that's your STYLE.

Then not always you have to get the things that are on trend or going to the stores looking for the new collections because you always have to look "fashionable", I personally think that if you have style you will be fashionable but in the good sense and here's where I mean the good side of the fashion.
