IRISH SUNNY DAYS

Nuevo post, nuevo color de cabello, nueva cámara. Este es mi primer post con mis looks de aquí de Irlanda, y debo admitir que son tan reales como parecen. Llegué en pleno comienzo del invierno así que he tenido mucho tiempo para acostumbrarme al frío y poder salir con las piernas descubiertas a 3 grados. 

Irlanda es conocido por su clima cambiante, un día puedes tener un sol radiante y a las 2 horas estará cayendo la propia tormenta, así que nunca se sabe como será el clima en realidad. Lo único que no cambia mucho son las temperaturas, no es ni muy frío ni muy caliente, y así se mantiene durante todo el año.

Así que para este día aproveché el sol porque estamos en la temporada de lluvias y llevaba ya 2 semanas tratando de tomar nuevas fotos (por eso mi pequeño retraso) y verán todavía muchas fotos con looks invernales, podrá estar comenzando la primavera en otros países, pero aquí el invierno durará hasta marzo.

New post, new hair color, new camera. This is my first post with my looks here in Ireland and they may seem unreal but they're not, I've been here for 4 months so I'm used to this weather and I can go out wearing a skirt with 3 degrees.

Ireland is well know by its weather, one day it could be sunny and two hours later it can be raining, so you'll never know what's going to happen, weather forecast apps don't predict very well. The only thing that is perfect is the temperature, it's never too cold and never too warm, so it's good.

The day I took this pictures was the only sunny day of the entire week (that's the main reason of my post delay) and you'll see more posts with wintery looks because the winter here lasts until march, I know it's terrible.

LAYERS ON LAYERS

He estado muy ocupada con ciertos asuntos que se me han olvidado mencionar en el blog. Dentro de 4 días me mudaré por un tiempito (6 meses) a Irlanda, iré a estudiar inglés para luego comenzar la uni aquí en Venezuela (pero vengo en diciembre no se preocupen). A la hora de hacer la maleta se me ha hecho un poco difícil porque ya no puedo darme el lujo de usar shorts tan cortos, tops o cualquier vestimenta que se utilice en el verano porque es muy evidente que moriré de frío y obviamente no estoy acostumbrada a vestirme de acuerdo a la temporada otoño/invierno porque aquí en Venezuela no la tenemos.

Aparte de estar ocupada, el fotógrafo del blog está super ocupado y me dijo que no podía seguir colaborando conmigo, para mi eso fue como un balde de agua fría porque mi blog depende muchísimo de él, entonces tuve que buscar mil y un personas que no supieran absolutamente nada de fotografía para subir así sea unos cuantos looks al blog antes de irme (sin contar de que cuando llegue a Irlanda tendré que buscarme un fotógrafo nuevo, ¡muero!). Ya luego de haber terminado con las explicaciones sobre mis angustias, describiré mi look:

I have been so busy with some issues that I have forgotten to mention in the blog. In 4 days I'll move to Ireland for a while (6 months), I'll go there to study english and then I come back to Venezuela to start the university. It was a little difficult to me making my bags because I can't afford to use small shorts, tops or any summer garment because it's obvious that I'll die frostbitten and I'm not accustomed to use winter clothes because here in Venezuela it's always sunny.

Apart from being busy, the blog's photographer is so busy with their issues that he told me he couldn't be part of the blog anymore and it has became a big issue for me because I had to told eeeeeeveryone (even people who don't know how to use a camera) to collaborate with me. When I arrive to Ireland I have to find a photographer as soon as possible, if not, I'll die. Now that I finished explaining all my anguish, 'll describe the look: 

Creo que vivo en una de las ciudades más calientes de Venezuela, Valencia (claro, después de Maracaibo), y que hacer un look de capa sobre capa es un tanto difícil porque da mucho calor (y más a mi que cualquier cosa me da calor). Esta "tendencia" (por decirlo así) de capa sobre capa, es la que constantemente vemos en las fotos de street style en los Fashion Weeks y la utilizan en cualquier temporada, esto le agrega un toque más minimalista, trendy o sofisticado dependiendo de como lo uses.

Me encanta la versatilidad de este outfit porque puede utilizarse tanto como para ir a comer o como para ir a una pequeña reunión en la noche cambiando los accesorios y el maquillaje. Quién diría lo bien que te puedes ver usando prendas low cost.

I live in one of the hottest cities of Venezuela (Valencia) and making a layer on layer look it's a little bit difficult because it's always hot. This layer on layer "trend" (in a manner to speaking) is the one we see in street style pictures of Fashion Weeks, this add a minimalistic, trendy or sophisticated touch depending how you use it.

I love the versatility of this outfit because it can be used to go out to have a lunch or going night out (changing the accessories and makeup).

Fin de semana al fin, nada mejor que tener tiempo para editar, agregar al borrador nuevos posts y pensar nuevas ideas, lamentablemente este fin de semana no está tan libre como los otros, tengo un montón de cosas por hacer que creo que nunca había estado tan full. Se me aproximan dos graduaciones, la de mi colegio y la de mi modelaje, aparte de eso, eventos, fiestas a las que debo asistir y sesiones de fotos. Sin embargo el blog siempre ocupa un pequeño espacio en mi agenda (la mayoría de las veces) y me estoy proponiendo a postear más seguido todavía.

Durante el fin de semana pasado pensé en muchas ideas para hacer mi blog cada vez más grande y agregarle nuevas secciones. Quiero hacer videos DIY, más peinados, maquillajes, también quiero abrir una sección de diseñadores nacionales y entrevistas o preguntas a bloggers, ¡espero poder hacerlo muy pronto!

En mi ciudad siempre hace calor, pero últimamente el calor que hace no es nada normal (aunque ya comienzan las lluvias), obviando eso, espero que esto le sirva de inspiración a chicas que viven en ciudades muy tropicales. La camisa la compré en Bershka, es de la colección de primavera 2013, los shorts de Bershka también pero son de la colección de verano 2011 (vistos en ESTE post), los zapatos comodísimos de Charlotte Russe y los accesorios de Exotik y Complot.

Weekend finally, nothing better that have time to edit, write some posts and think in new ideas, unfortunately this weekend I won't be as available as the others, I have a lot of things to do that I think that I had never been so full. I have my prom graduation, my modeling graduation, events, parties, photoshoots, so much things but I always have time to my blog (the most of the time) and I am proposing myself to post more often.

During the last weekend I thought in so many ideas for the blog, DIY videos, more hairstyles, makeup tutorials and I wanna open a new section about national designers and interviews or questions to other bloggers, I hope I can do that sooner!

My city is always warm, but recently the warmth isn't normal (thanks god the rainy season is starting), obviating that, I hope this serve for inspiration to other girls living in warm cities. I bought the shirt in Bershka, is from spring 2013 collection, the shorts are from Bershka too but from summer 2011 collection (seen in THIS post), comfy shoes from Charlotte Russe and the accessories from Exotik and Complot

BLACK + NEON + GREEN

Estar sin internet es una de las cosas más difíciles para mi que me considero una adicta a la tecnología, y más que una de las cosas que más me encanta hacer es bloggear. Donde estuve por una semana no tuve internet, pero aproveché ese tiempo al máximo para adelantar algunos posts y pensar algunas ideas.

Empezaré con un nuevo proyecto, voy a comenzar a promocionar marcas nacionales aquí en el blog y a apoyar al talento emergente, estoy orgullosa de que en mi país se produzcan cosas tan buenas pero lamentablemente no se llevan el mérito que de verdad merecen.

Ya yéndome con el look como tal, este vestido me encanta, lo usé como 2 veces en la semana porque es súper cómodo y es decentemente corto, yo no soy de usar muchos vestidos a la hora de salidas casuales, pero en medio de apuros lo saqué de mi closet y bueno, no me arrepiento, lo haré más seguido.

For me, one of the most difficult things is being without Internet, because I consider myself as a technology addict and one of my favorite things to do is blogging so I was dying. I was staying in my dad's house for a week and here we don't have Internet, but in this time I took the advantage to think some ideas and anticipate the upcoming posts.

I'm going to start with a new project, I'm going to promote national brands and emergent talent, I'm so proud of my country and the good things the people produce here but unfortunately they don't receive the merit they deserve.

Now talking about my look, I love this dress because is comfy and respectably short, I used this look in two opportunities this week. I don't consider myself as a dress lover, I only wet dresses in cocktail or elegant events, but I'm going to start wearing them in casual opportunities, I took it out of my closet because I was apurada and I don't regret myself for doing it.

"La moda pasa, el estilo permanece"

He decidido comenzar con esta frase porque quisiera ejercer mi punto de vista sobe la moda, para algunos esta frase puede que sea muy confusa, ¿moda? ¿estilo? ¿acaso no es lo mismo? Tienen mucho que ver, pero no es lo mismo, la moda es algo efímero, son las tendencias, lo que está de moda y lo que no, lo que ya pasó de temporada, es cambiable y competitiva. Pero esto mas bien lo vería yo como la parte más oscura, la competitiva.

En cuanto al estilo, es tu manera de vestirte de acuerdo a como te sientes, como eres, como te provoque salir a la calle, con unos zapatos de la temporada Otoño-Invierno del 2012, cosas que incluso están fuera de temporada, pero lo usas porque te gusta, porque es tu ESTILO.

Entonces no siempre hay que tener lo último en tendencia, ni tampoco ir a las tiendas en busca de las nuevas colecciones porque hay que "estar a la moda", personalmente opino que si tienes estilo estarás a la moda pero en un buen sentido y es aquí cuando me refiero a la parte buena de la moda

I have decided to start with this quote because I want to perform my point of view about fashion, for many people this quote may be a little bit confuse, fashion? style? Isn't the same thing? This two words relate very much, but they're not the same, fashion is something ephemeral, fashion is trends, what is fashionable, unfashionable, last seasons, is changeable and competitive. But this I would see it like the dark side, the competitive one.

In regard to style, style is the way you dress according the way you feel, the way you are, the way you would like to go out, with shoes of Fall-Winter 2012 season, things that even are out of season, but you wear it because you like them and because that's your STYLE.

Then not always you have to get the things that are on trend or going to the stores looking for the new collections because you always have to look "fashionable", I personally think that if you have style you will be fashionable but in the good sense and here's where I mean the good side of the fashion.
