¡Hola qué tal! Ya este es mi primer post formal después de muchísimo tiempo y espero que les guste lo que tengo preparado para ustedes. Este outfit lo tengo guardado desde hace mucho tiempo. Comencé a planear "el regreso" desde Octubre-Noviembre del año pasado y éste fue uno de los primeros outfits que anoté para mostrarles.

Amo esta tendencia de accesorios o zapatos con partes transparentes. Y aunque un bolso transparente no es la mejor opción para los habitantes de Venezuela, yo prefiero guardarme este clutch para ocasiones un poco más "privadas" por así decirlo. Sin embargo, para comprarlo fue toda una odisea. Apenas vi en el instagram de Primark que iban a sacar ese bolso, me la pasé yendo todos los días a la tienda, en realidad lo necesitaba, y resulta que ya los habían sacado y quedaban muy pocos ¡Y estaban escondidos! Pero igual lo agarre y lo compré jaja.

Hey guys! This could be called my first "formal" post after a long time without posting and I hope you like all the looks I wanted to show you. I've been saving this outfit for a long time, since November from last year to be honest, and this was one of the firsts looks I made for the "comeback".

I love this "clear everything" trend. I love it most on shoes and bags. And even if this is not the best option for a Venezuelan resident (only Venezuelan people will understand) I prefer to save this clutch for private occasions. However, when I tried to buy this clutch I thought it was going to be impossible. I was following Primark's instagram account for months and one day they posted that they were going to sell a clear clutch. I literally went running like crazy to Primark's store and the moment I got there there there were no clutches! It turns out that the clutches were hidden, and of course I found them, and of course I bought one.

He estado muy ocupada con ciertos asuntos que se me han olvidado mencionar en el blog. Dentro de 4 días me mudaré por un tiempito (6 meses) a Irlanda, iré a estudiar inglés para luego comenzar la uni aquí en Venezuela (pero vengo en diciembre no se preocupen). A la hora de hacer la maleta se me ha hecho un poco difícil porque ya no puedo darme el lujo de usar shorts tan cortos, tops o cualquier vestimenta que se utilice en el verano porque es muy evidente que moriré de frío y obviamente no estoy acostumbrada a vestirme de acuerdo a la temporada otoño/invierno porque aquí en Venezuela no la tenemos.

Aparte de estar ocupada, el fotógrafo del blog está super ocupado y me dijo que no podía seguir colaborando conmigo, para mi eso fue como un balde de agua fría porque mi blog depende muchísimo de él, entonces tuve que buscar mil y un personas que no supieran absolutamente nada de fotografía para subir así sea unos cuantos looks al blog antes de irme (sin contar de que cuando llegue a Irlanda tendré que buscarme un fotógrafo nuevo, ¡muero!). Ya luego de haber terminado con las explicaciones sobre mis angustias, describiré mi look:

I have been so busy with some issues that I have forgotten to mention in the blog. In 4 days I'll move to Ireland for a while (6 months), I'll go there to study english and then I come back to Venezuela to start the university. It was a little difficult to me making my bags because I can't afford to use small shorts, tops or any summer garment because it's obvious that I'll die frostbitten and I'm not accustomed to use winter clothes because here in Venezuela it's always sunny.

Apart from being busy, the blog's photographer is so busy with their issues that he told me he couldn't be part of the blog anymore and it has became a big issue for me because I had to told eeeeeeveryone (even people who don't know how to use a camera) to collaborate with me. When I arrive to Ireland I have to find a photographer as soon as possible, if not, I'll die. Now that I finished explaining all my anguish, 'll describe the look: 

Creo que vivo en una de las ciudades más calientes de Venezuela, Valencia (claro, después de Maracaibo), y que hacer un look de capa sobre capa es un tanto difícil porque da mucho calor (y más a mi que cualquier cosa me da calor). Esta "tendencia" (por decirlo así) de capa sobre capa, es la que constantemente vemos en las fotos de street style en los Fashion Weeks y la utilizan en cualquier temporada, esto le agrega un toque más minimalista, trendy o sofisticado dependiendo de como lo uses.

Me encanta la versatilidad de este outfit porque puede utilizarse tanto como para ir a comer o como para ir a una pequeña reunión en la noche cambiando los accesorios y el maquillaje. Quién diría lo bien que te puedes ver usando prendas low cost.

I live in one of the hottest cities of Venezuela (Valencia) and making a layer on layer look it's a little bit difficult because it's always hot. This layer on layer "trend" (in a manner to speaking) is the one we see in street style pictures of Fashion Weeks, this add a minimalistic, trendy or sophisticated touch depending how you use it.

I love the versatility of this outfit because it can be used to go out to have a lunch or going night out (changing the accessories and makeup).

TROPICAL FOR SEPTEMBER

Con mi blog he aprendido muchísimas cosas, una de estas cosas (que es la que mas me encanta) es que he aprendido a visualizar bien mi clóset y sacar outfits totalmente distintos, sé que la mayoría de las mujeres que vayan a leer esto se sentirán un 100% identificadas puesto que este es nuestro drama cada vez que vamos a salir a un sitio: "No sé que ponerme", "No tengo ropa", "¡Necesito salir a comprar ropa ya!"... y muchas otras frases que decimos casi todos los días.

Les daré un consejo para que esto no ocurra tan seguido, cuando estén en su tiempo libre abran el clóset y saquen prenda por prenda, comienzan a combinarlo con todo (por más loco que se vea a la vista) porque puesto es otra cosa totalmente distinta, estampados con estampados, prendas del mismo color, también buscar inspiración para poder sacar algo totalmente distinto a lo que usas siempre.

Una de las prendas a las cuales le he agarrado muchísimo cariño son a este tipo de pantalones baggy, dan muy linda forma y con un corte alto y unos tacones te hacen lucir más alta. Me he comprado como 4 pantalones de este tipo ya en menos de 2 meses y simplemente los amo.

With my blog I have learned so much things, one of the things I liked most is that I have learned how to visualize my closet and take off different outfits, I know that most of the girls that are reading this will feel 100% identified with this every time we need to go out: "OMG I have nothing to wear", "I have no clothes", "I need to go shopping now!"... and so many other phrases we use almost every day.

I will give you an advice, when you have time take out everything of your closet and start matching garments and as crazy as it looks just try it on and you will get at least one outfit I promise! Match prints with prints, clothes of the same color, look for inspiration too and you'll see you will get totally different outfits.

One of the clothes I have loved the most are this baggy pants, they look so good and with the high cut and nice heels they will make you look taller. I have bought 4 pants like this in less than 2 months, I just love them!

Las headbands son un accesorio que le puede dar estilo a tu cabello cuando esté en su peor estado o sumamente hermoso. REMINDS ME OF CHANEL

Sé lo mucho que tengo abandonado el blog y fue muy frustrante para mí no poder postear nada por varias razones; una de ellas fue que Juancho (mi fotógrafo) se fue de viaje, cuando regresó comenzaron unos días de lluvia demasiado horribles y fue imposible salir a tomar fotos. A partir de ahora tengo muchos looks guardados para mostrárselos a ustedes y muchísimas cosas por escribir debido a que deje de postear por casi un mes jajaja así que prepárense para posts mas o menos largos.

I know I abandoned my blog and I feel really terrible and it's so frustrating because I couldn't post anything for a few reasons, my photographer Juancho was on a trip and when he came back it rained in my city for a few days or we got together late when the sun was already down. From now on I will post a lot of looks I have here in my computer (FINALLY) and show you a lot of things I couldn't for a long time so get prepared for looong posts.

El top de este outfit es de una marca nacional llamada Iconicas que está ubicada en Lechería, edo. Anzoátegui. Lo compré en febrero o marzo y aún no eran comunes los crop tops aquí en Venezuela, lo cual me sorprendió muchísimo entonces no dudé en comprarlo porque aparte de que es hermoso, es muy original. La falda es de Forever 21 que también la han visto aquí y el bolso hermosísimo y sencillo de Vestimenta.

Este outfit es un poco más elegante, algo para andar mucho más arreglada pero debido al poco tiempo que tuve para tomarme las fotos no tuve tiempo de maquillarme mucho ni hacerme algo muy elaborado. Sin embargo escogí una locación perfecta para este look, esta casa me recuerda muchísimo a una tienda de Chanel que está en Mónaco, era blanca y gigante, ¡simplemente hermosa!

The top from this outfit is from a national brand called Iconicas. I bought it in february or march when the crop tops weren't common here in Venezuela, which surprised me a lot and I didn't doubt to buy it because it's beautiful and very original. This skirt you have seen it here and the beautiful bag is from Vestimenta.

This outfit it's a little bit elegant but I got some troubles and I couldn't make up a lot and made an elegant hairstyle or something. However, I chose a perfect location for this look, it's a huge house that reminds me of a Chanel store in Monaco, it was white and huge, just beautiful!

SUMMER IS HERE

¡Por fin llegaron las vacaciones tan esperadas! el hecho de que sean vacaciones significa que tendré muchísimo más tiempo para postear y comenzar a hacer los proyectos pendientes para el blog.

Tengo el blog un poco abandonado -sé que he dicho esto muchas veces- pero ahora sí ya estoy un 100% disponible para poder escribirles al menos 4 veces a la semana (al menos), quisiera poder subir posts todos los días pero ahí si se me complica un poco.

En este look ya lo han visto todo, excepto 2 cosas: la franela -es nueva- es de h&m me encanta porque tiene un excelente corte que hace que se vea muy bien la figura, si bien vemos es totalmente recta y no enfatiza para nada la figura, pero al contrario, te hace lucir muy bien. 

La otra pieza es el bolso, cuando lo vi me enamoré totalmente, estos bolsos de satchel al estilo Stella Rittwagen están en mis listas de deseo desde hace mucho tiempo, y sé que son extremadamente costosos (4000bs) así que me compré este sólo por 700bs.

Finally summer is here! The fact with this is that I'll have a lot of time to post and to start my projects for the blog.

I have my blog abandoned, I know, and I know that I had mentioned this a lot, but this time I'm 100% available to write post at least 4 times a week, I would like to upload post everyday but that's a little bit difficult.

In this look you have seen everything except 2 things: the shirt -is new- is from h&m and I love it because it has an excellent cut, it makes a good shape, and If you see it well is totally straight and doesn't emphasizes your silhouette, but with this shirt your body will look good because of the cut.

The other piece is the bag, when I saw it I fell in love with it completely, this bag is similar to Stella Rittwagen bags, they're in my wishlist from a long time ago but they're so expensive (200$ approximately) so I bought this one for just 20$.

Siento muchísimo por no haber actualizado, he estado muy ocupada pero ya salí de todo y tengo tiempo libre. Tops: Los tops en las pasarelas cada vez se hacen más comunes, lo que me gusta de esta tendencia es que al combinarlo con buenas piezas te verás muy elegante y chic al mismo tiempo, pero hay que tener mucho cuidado con no caer en lo vulgar.

Tops: Tops in this season become more common, what I like about this trend is that when you combine a top with good pieces you can look elegant and chic at the same time but you have to be careful.

Pijamas por todos lados: La seda en esta temporada se ha convertido muy popular, una de las tendencias este verano es la ilusión de pijama en ciertas prendas, sin embargo, se ven muy bien combinadas con prendas básicas.

Pijamas everywhere: The silk this season have turned very popular, one of this summer trends is the pijama illusion in certain clothes, however, they look good with basic garments.

Akris, Tommy Hilfiger, Christian Dior.

Trajes: Pantalones de vestir anchos o pegados, blazers o chaquetas grandes, telas finas como la gabardina, son una de las elecciones preferidas para algunos diseñadores, un look un poco masculino con un maquillaje con labios rojos te harán lucir preppy pero sin llegar a verse masculina.

Suits: Elegant pants, blazers or coats, fine fabrics like gabardine, are one of the most favorite choices for some designers, a little bit masculine look with red lips will make you look preppy but not masculine at all.

Zac Posen, Peter Pilotto, Balenciaga.

Volantes: Una tendencia un poco rara pero le da mucho dinamismo a un look, un toque divertido, algo diferente, este tipo de prendas son perfectas para mujeres con pocas curvas, los volantes harán que le den un poco más de volumen a tu cuerpo.

Frills: This trend is very unusual but it gives dynamism to the look, a funny touch, something different, this type of garments are perfect for women with no curves, the frills will give volume to your body.

Trajes de baño con cutouts: Así como tenemos cutouts en tops y vestidos, también en los trajes de baño. A mi parecer esta tendencia me parece muy original ya que no todos los días vemos a mujeres con este tipo de traje de baño, son propuestas arriesgadas y sólo le quedarían bien a ciertas personas.

Swimwear with cutouts: As we have cutouts in tops and dresses, we have them in swimsuits too. In my opinion this trend is very original because you don't see everyday women with swimwear like that, it's a risky proffer and it would look good just in certain people.

Trajes de baño corte alto: Las pantys de corte alto en trajes de baño son muy retro, otra propuesta no tan arriesgada como la anterior pero muchas no se atreven usarlo, a mi me encantan puesto que soy amante de cosas vintage.

High cut swimwear: The high cut panties are very retro, this is another proffer not as risky as the previous one but some girls don't dare to use them, I really love them because I'm a vintage lover.

Stilettos: Como lo dije en la PARTE I, las plataformas de los zapatos ya no son tan altas o algunos ya no las tienen, en esta temporada comenzaron a salir los zapatos sin nada de plataformas, un poco incómodos, pero elegantes.

Stilettos: As I told you in the PART I, shoes platform aren't so tall or not tall at all, in this season we started to see coming out shoes with not platforms, a little bit uncomfortable but elegant.

Stilettos metalizados: Lo metalizado lo vemos tanto en la ropa como en accesorios, esta vez quisieron darle un cambio y lo comenzaron a poner en los zapatos, normalmente los vemos en dorado, ahora están siendo un poco más arriesgados.

Metallic stilettos: We see the metallic garment in clothes or accessories but this time the designers wanted to do a change and they started to put metallic in shoes, they are starting to be a little more risky.

TENDENCIAS PRIMAVERA/VERANO 2013 PARTE II

Posteando tarde lo se, pero he estado muy ocupada estos días con muchísimos eventos, si lo sé, horrible, y para empeorar un poco la situación, comenzó la época de lluvia en mi ciudad y al parecer afecta a la señal de internet, estoy escribiendo este post con el internet yendo y viniendo, es súper estresante. En fin, como les prometí aquí esta la segunda parte de este post de 3 partes de las tendencias de esta primavera verano, espero que les guste <3.

Posting late I know, but I've been so busy these days with so many events, I know, that's horrible, and the worst thing is that in my city the rainy season had just started and this affects the internet signal, so I'm writing this post with a deficient internet. But as I promised you, here you have the second part of the SS2013 trends 3 part posts, hope you like it <3.

Cuadros: La mayoría vimos el desfile de Louis Vuitton de P/V 2013 y nos dimos cuenta de que los cuadros era lo que predominaba, muchas tiendas de bajo costo como Zara y Bershka tomaron esta tendencia e hicieron sus colecciones también, a mi me encantó.

Squares: We all saw the Louis Vuitton SS/13 fashion show and we realized that the squares were the protagonists of the show, low cost stores like Zara and Bershka took this trend and did their collections using squares too, I really loved them.

Balmain, Hermes, Jason Wu.

Derek Lam, DKNY, Helmut Lang.

Cuero: Seguimos viendo el cuero, tendencia que esta desde el Otoño/Invierno pasado, pero esta vez lo vemos más en tops y shorts que en cualquier otra cosa, definitivamente me encanta el cuero.

Leather: We still seeing the leather, this trend comes from Fall/Winter from the last season, but this time we see the leather in tops and shorts more than anything, I really love the leather.

Cutouts: Me encantan los cutouts, hacen que le den un toque totalmente diferente y original a una prenda simple, además que te hace mostrar un poco de piel (claro sin convertirse en vulgar), esta tendencia de esta temporada me encanta. 

Cutouts: I really love cutouts, this give the piece an unique and totally different touch and make you show a little bit of skin (without becoming into vulgar obviously), I love this trend.

Rayas: Las rayas han sido una de las tendencias que han marcado mucho esta Primavera, no todo tiene que ser de flores y colores claros, los diseñadores nos pusieron en sus pasarelas esta combinación de los 2 colores más usados por las personas. 

Stripes: The stripes have been one of the most popular trend of this Spring, not everything have to be flowers and bright colors, the designers put out in their runways this combination of the 2 most used colors by people.

Transparencia: Sigue la transparencia en esta temporada, pero esta vez un poco más arriesgada y en prendas como chaquetas, vestidos o blusas totalmente transparentes.

Transparency: Transparency stills in the runway this season, but this time a little bit more risky in pieces like jackets, vests or blouses totally transparent.

Trajes de baño con estampado completo: Para aprovechar este verano, aquí les dejo esta tendencia de trajes de baño enterizos, con un estampado completo en el traje de baño, ¡para ir a la playa o a la piscina con lo último en tendencia!

Printed swimsuits: To take the advantage of this summer, here I have this trend of swimsuits with printed things to go to the beach or pool with the last in trends!

Tacón bajo: Como decía en mi post anterior, adiós a las plataformas, sin embargo algunos diseñadores nos quisieron dejar claro también que adiós a los tacones altos, aunque no me gusta mucho esta tendencia, ya tiendas de bajo costo están comenzando a sacar zapatos con este tamaño de tacón.

Low heels: As I told you in my previous post, goodbye to the platforms, however some designers wanted to let us know that goodbye to the high heels, even though I don't like this trend much, the low cost stores already took out shoes with low heels.

Transparencia en zapatos: Transparencia en el tacón, en las tiras o incluso en casi todo el zapato, a mi me encanta, le da un aspecto totalmente original a los zapatos y no cualquiera se arriesgaría a usar zapatos así, ¿Tu que opinas?

Transparency in shoes: Transparency in the heel or even in the whole shoe, I really love it because it gives a totally original touch to the shoes and not everybody could take the risk to wear this, What do you think?
